WELCOME! My name is Mrs. Susan Schotte

Learning is a life-long process that takes place anywhere. I believe learning from one's mistakes and learning something new increases our capabilities to become a better individual. |
My Teaching History:
I started my teaching career right out of college at an inner city school in Kansas City, Kansas. I taught 7th and 8th grade as well as physical education until the school closed. Afterwards, I taught 5th and 6th grade as well as 5th through 8th grade physical educational for twelve-years in Marysville, Kansas.
I took a year off and substitute taught at multiple schools. In the fall of 2015, I accepted a teacher's aide position at Hanover and eventually a part-time position as Junior High English teacher. In 2021, I accepted the position as Junior High English and Elementary Title teacher.
In May of 2024, I accepted a call to teach 3rd grade at St. Paul Lutheran School.
I am ecstatic to be working full-time with students!
